How To Connect To Skyband Hotspots

What do I need to Connect to a Skyband Hotspot?

All you need is a laptop/PDA/mobile phone fitted with a wireless adaptor (Wi-Fi Adaptor). Most laptops being sold now and in the last two years are fitted with a Wi-Fi apadtor as standard.

How does it work?

Sample Access Card

Access is controlled using “Access Cards” that are sold at the venue. The access card has a unique ten digit access code inside that is used to login to the Skyband Hotspot.

The access cards are individually sealed for security purposes.

Access cards are available in 30 mins, 1 hour, 5 hour and
1 week denominations.

You are able to logoff at anytime and use the remainder of your time at a later stage.

How do I know how much “access time” I have used?

When you log on with your unique access code a small pop-up window will appear showing the time used and time still available.

What is the range of a Skyband Hotspot?

The average range of a Hotspot can vary from approximately 20 to 200 meters. This may depend on the line of sight between you and the access point.
